EFL Authors and Creatives Wanted
Do have any an artilce or EFL teaching activity that you have developed for your classes? Would you like to share with the English learning and EFL teaching community? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
What’s in it for you?
Publicity to help you stand out from the crowd
A big problem we all face in the EFL teaching world is the shear volume of competition from other English language schools and independent English language teachers. How do we get noticed in the crowd? Web sites get lost in the low pages of Google and Bing, and advertising can become expensive. Having a link to your website or blog can help you in two ways. Firstly, potential students can find you directly by clicking on your author link. Secondly, each your author link will give you “Google juice” and help you rank better in the search engines.
To find out more EFL authors, send me a message via the contact page.
What are we looking for?
Ideal content will be articles and exercises that students can enjoy on their own or teachers can use in their classes. Videos with also welcome, however we don’t have plans to host videos, this means that we will need the link to your host (typically YouTube or Vimeo, although these are blocked in some countries) so that we can embed your creation. Of course you don’t have to create video yourself. You can always submit an exercise or other supplementary material based on a publically available video.
Teachers and learners have a variety of different needs and interests, and that sums up what we are looking for. This means that if we have had a large number of articles, exercises or role plays about hobbies, then we probably won’t need any more for some time. This doesn’t mean that we won’t accept your contribution, it simply means that it might not be published immediately.
